POSITIONING

Sprite is a brand which uses this motto: ''Quench your thirst!'' By this motto, they aimed make people have an idea like that: They can drink sprite instead of water when they're thirsty! I think this positioning strategy succeed what it means because when I hear the brand ''sprite'',  something refreshing like water comes my mind. As I said this is a positioning strategy that makes people think about water when they hear ''sprite''.In this picture(taken in a beach) people use the sprite showers.
Shower is something related with the water but in this case this is used for a fizzy drink which is sprite. This means water and sprite became integrated with each other in people's mind and this is a successful positioning example.
